Certificate Application Process
Admission requirements for Non Degree Graduate Certificate Program:
Applicant required to submit:
- Submit a Kelley application. (Takes approximately 3 minutes.)
- Submit copies of all post-secondary institutions attended (showing award of degrees when applicable). If translation required for transcript, will require English translation and transcript in native language.
- If currently residing in U.S. and not a citizen, will require proof of immigration status.
- Prepare for, register, and take the TOEFL (if needed). See www.toefl.org for more information. When you take the TOEFL, have your scores sent to Indiana University (code 1324/99). In addition, fax your unofficial score report to Kelley Direct (317-274-7301). Your unofficial score report may be mailed to Kelley Direct instead (see #6). TOEFL minimums: 550+ (paper version/PBT) or 213+ (computer-based version/CBT) or a provisional minimum of 79+ (internet-based version/ kBT ). .
- Contact the person who will write a letter of recommendation on your behalf; ask them if they are willing to submit the reference online. If so, be sure you have their preferred email address. If not, have them write a letter of recommendation on letterhead and send the letter of reference to you in a sealed and signed envelope. Only one letter of recommendation is required. Please provide the name and email address within the university (part 2) application in the “Recommendations” section. When asked “will the provider be submitting the letter of recommendation online?”, please select “Yes” or “No” if the recommender will be sending the letter to you directly.
